FISHING

Gorgeous trout inhabit these Wyoming waters, so come fish in the area's amazing lakes and streams. Whether you are a seasoned fly fisherman or prefer the classic bobber and worm, our waters have something for everyone. Many of the local lakes and streams are accessible via ATV or even car. For the more adventurous, a short hike or horseback ride will lead to lakes fished only by the seasoned anglers of the area.

Fly fishing gear and bait are availible for sale or rent in the office store. Be sure to stop in and ask where the fish have been biting! See Wyoming Game and Fish's website to purchase fishing licenses online and to read up on Wyoming fishing rules and regulations.

Make your fishing trip one to remember with the Outfitters of the Wyoming Wilderness, where you will pack into the backcountry on horseback and stay for a few days.

If you are interested in a shorter guided fishing trip, get intouch with Marlow's Fly Shop and spend a day with one of the most experienced fly fishermen in the area. You can either spend the day learning the basics of fly fishing or picking up a few new tricks and techniques to improve your skills. Marlow's shop in Dubois is also a great place to stop on your way up the mountain to stock up on fly fishing supplies.
